Waterpark Montessori offers a support service for those using the educational philosophies and method of Maria Montessori.

WHAT DO WE OFFER?

GENERAL

·         Lectures to groups to inspire and provide a deeper understanding of the Montessori Method

·         Lectures to parents, school management and others interested in discovering more about the Montessori method

SCHOOLS & PRESCHOOLS

·         Lectures to Montessori teachers on the philosophy and its practical application

·         Observations in Montessori schools and pre-schools followed by advisory service to staff

·         Classroom Practice Pack – for schools and preschools that wish to be Montessori practice sites for Waterpark students. This includes a full day’s observation, staff advice and an evening lecture for staff or parents.

TRAINING

·         Advisory service to training institutions

·         Advice & support to groups setting up training

·         Guest lectures to students and lecturers on Montessori principles and their application

Clare’s expertise lies in inspiring others to apply Montessori in their own particular situations without losing the essence and the main elements of the core Montessori philosophy. She has wide experience as a lecturer throughout Europe.

Martine Hestnes Vatland

·         Experienced Montessori teacher in kinder-garden and school

·         Senior lecturer Waterpark Montessori training

·         Author of “Montessori - en innføring, Montessoriforlaget”

·         BA in Early Childhood Studies

·         Writing PhD thesis on children under 3 years

Martine’s expertise lies in inspiring and guiding parents, pre-school teachers and leaders, both in practical and theoretical aspects of the Montessori method. She has wide experience as a lecturer. Martine speaks fluent Norwegian and English and can also communicate in German
